Facial sponge, Kuu Konjac
AUD $10.95 – AUD $15.95
The Kuu Konjac Sponge is made from the root of the konjac plant, grown throughout Asia, used as both a medicine and a food and traditionally used for skincare in Japan.
The Konjac sponge is naturally alkaline, with pH 8.4 and provides a gentle method of cleansing by stimulating blood flow and revitalising the complexion without damaging the skin. The konjac root contains valuable glucomannans and a broad range of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The sponge is produced without any artificial ingredients or additives, to retain it’s purity. It can be used simply with water to moisten before gently rubbing the skin, as well as with your favourite oil or cleanser.
Ensuring you rinse your Konjac sponge well after use will remove any remaining impurities so that it will be ready for you to use next time. The sponge will harden as it dries between uses, and just requires a light rinse and massage to rehydrate ready to use.
It’s recommended that you replace your konjac sponge after 2-3 months of normal individual personal use. The sponge is biodegradable, and can be added to your compost.
Kuu Konjac sponges are produced in an accredited factory on an island off Korea, with volcanic filtered water and conditions free of the pollution and chemicals of urban environments. The sponge measures approximately 8cm diameter when moistened and around 3.5cm thick to make it easy to handle.
